I have a woodwork dust extract system.
It is triggered by a low voltage sense wire circuit

Thinking be much easier instead of having cord pull swiches on the sense wire to put in a remote controlled relay ... thinking of using one of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/316153683541?_trksid=p4375194.c101949.m162918

They can handle 10A so no worries with switching a couple of mA on the sense wires.

To power it I need to use a 12 V supply, anybody know of a small 220AC to 12VDC .... 0.5A would be a massive safety margin.
Or at a push I could repurpose a 220V to 12VDC Halogen light transformer.

I set up an extraction system in a joiners shop using Quinetic fobs on each machine and a relay in the control panel

Not possible, the output from those is high frequency AC, and they have a minimum load which will be far in excess of what a tiny electronic module will use.

OK thanks.

Back to original Q on a small 12V psu.
I have some hub & router adapters so have those as an option, just larger and more power output than needed.
DC to DC be easy with a tiny buck converter

Guess I could go with one of these - seems overkill. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165553353780
