Please can someone help me with what can / cannot be done during the removal process.
What I would like to do
1) place a PRV on the 15mm mains pipe in the immersion cupboard and set to 1 bar
2) connect the conventional immersion tank (central heating coil inside plus electric element if required) supply and the upstairs cold water supply to PRV outlet at 1 bar
3) Remove immersion vent from old tank and connect with boss into soil pipe in loft conveniently near by
For info distance between loft tank outlet and bottom feed to immersion tank is approx. 9 feet which equates to 0.3 Bar when Im chucking 0.7 bar more at it
Please be gentle if absolutely crazy.
