Does anyone know how to remove the double glazed panels from 30 year old CR Smith 'Lorimer' windows? The fixed windows are easy - curved mouldings which pop off. However the opening windows are very different. I can ease a scraper between the moulding and the aluminium frame on the edge (red arrow on attached photo), and open it up by about half an inch, but beyond that, it just won't budge. It feels completely attached where the moulding meets the glass on the inside. You can see where I've removed the crumbling seal to get a closer look to see what the problem is. (The whole point of doing this is to replace all the seals). Am I missing something? I don't want to crack the glass by forcing tools in...
Any advice would be much appreciated.
