Hello all,
I have one of those concrete panel garages that were all the rage a few years ago (pic attached). I would like to get my van in there, but it is slightly too tall. If I could remove the lintel and in some way support it, the van would fit perfectly. I have no need for the garage door anymore, so that can be out of the equation.
Maybe some nice thick wooden posts up the verticals with a horizontal one on top following the roof angle and supporting the metal bars? Those other panels above the lintel would have to go too I guess, or they would just drop down.
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
