Remove radiator paint from the radiator?

My partner has gone and painted a brand new chrome radiator with special radiator paint, without talking to me and I want it back to its original chrome finish.

Is there any way of stripping off the radiator paint without damaging the finish underneath?

How about you contact the paint manufacturer and ask same question?

Major problem is the Chrome finish is Microns thick? and very, very susceptible to impact, scoring, scrape and chemical damage.
