Do I need to blank the 15mm flow/return pipes all the way back where they t-off the main 22mm F/R, or can I leave them more or less in situ and just blank them off?

My thinking was I'm creating an airlock by leaving them in place.

many thanks

You won't be creating an airlock by doing this. However, it is good practice to remove as much of a deadleg as possible.

great thanks. I can reach back to about 4ft from the T-off, but getting at the rest will mean lifting the floor so would prefer to do this at a later date.

Will add it to my "do it one day" list to remove the remainder of the dead pipe work!
