Removing a self tapping garden tap

I installed a self tapping garden tap sometime ago. I now need to move the self tapping connection to the copper water pipe.

Can anyone tell me what the best method of filling the hole that will be left behind is?

cut it out and put a straight coupler in compression coupler will do.

yes providing the pipes clean cut etc.
check the pipe when you cut it sometimes thoses self cutting taps can dent the pipe.
