When removing a balanced flued hot water heater with the balanced flue exiting the middle of the boiler. Is it best to remove the flue from the outside ( chipping the cement from around it and pulling it off). Or discount the pipework and pull the boiler off the wall from the inside, or would this not work as the flue is still connected. Thanks for any help.

You don't say the make, if it's Britony or Main you remove the inside first.

If you have to take the boiler off first, do you have to discounnect the pipes then take the cover off to get to the screws holding the flue on?

tTHIS iPOST should be in combustion chamber .
you need to be gas safe to REMOVE as well as fit.boilers ,heaters

The boiler is not currently connected, I don't think it has for some time as it now has a combi boiler the kitchen. It just has the old pipework ruining down to under the floor boards were it has previously been discounted as the pipework is jus open ended.
