hi - someone scratched my car the other day, the scratches were not deep and you coudnt really feel them if you ran you finger over them, however very visible. Ive had a local garage use some very very fine paper to wet and flatten them, then mopped the damaged side, its got rid of nearly all of the scratches but i can still see very fine scratches still visible if i look closely, anyway to remove them ?...ive tried tcut...etc...what about colour restorer?

Probably metallic finish?

Just leave it.

The garage probably buffed it to the limit. You wont even notice it in a few weeks.

But if you wanted to ask them to go again, andd see what they say.

some higher end polishes on the market contain fillers that mask fine scratches, autoglym super resin polish is one of them. As said if they have already tried to buff them out then you might struggle to mask them.

thanks guys..the garage did say if they went too deep they would break into the laquer and probably would need a respray, so i suppose its the best they can do..ill have to live with it i suppose..
