Simple question, what's the best way to remove just two block paving bricks?

thanks, saw that video the bricks look like they are loose already, mine are compacted together with sand/mud etc. Like this:

Maybe put down some boards to protect the ones that should stay, and use a normal garden hose plus tool to clear out the locking material? You could use a pressure washer? They tend to be a bit fierce.

Hit it with a rubber mallet at alternate ends until it starts to wobble, then tease it up with a pair of flat screwdrivers.

Thanks, great ideas - will let you know how I get on!

You only need one loose block. Once the first is up the rest are easy.

Easiest to start at an edge or curb, not in the middle.

Jamming in a crowbar will wedge them in tighter.

Septic was trying to make it look hard.

Thank you all!

Rubber mallet, two crowbars and starting from the edge worked a treat!

The key was to be able to dig out mud/rock between the wall and the brick, then push the brick into the gap and lift with crowbar.
