Removing Kitchen Cabinet

Hi all,
I would like to fit a slimline dishwasher in place where the bottom of this kitchen cabinet is. Im asking what would the best way to separate the top section from the bottom be? and any recommendations for how best to support the top section. Really appreciate any help .

Work out how it’s fixed by looking from each side and under the shelves. Almost certainly it was glued and fixed with dowels so cannot be removed without dismantling the units around it. Sacrificing the shelves (which will presumably no longer be needed) is probably the best way forward, being careful to cut around the dowels before cutting/sanding them flat
