Removing kitchen tap handle without visible grub screw

Just want to sanity check I’m not missing something obvious before I use serious force on this tap handle. Only screw I can see releases the spout as you can see in the photo. No grub screw holes or caps to take off. There is a tiny hole where there is a red and blue dot either side, I’m pretty sure that is just to say which is which tap as it’s too small for an Allen key.

I’ve already taken the hammer to this, might have moved a few mm but it’s not budging. Just have to keep going?

You can see the red dot at the bottom of the handle in the 2nd photo.

Not much bigger than that tool you need to use to get SIM card out of an iPhone!

Have you tried pushing a pin into the hole? It just might, perhaps, possibly, maybe release some catch to allow the handle to pull off.
