The tiles stuck to floorboards in our toilet area off the kitchen are undoubtedly Marley tiles from 1965 and will have asbestos in them or on them. We are removing the floorboards with the tiles stuck to them due to a leak and they are in need of replacement. Please can you advise how we can or must do this please? Our plumber/builder is doing this but I want to make sure he follows right safety guidelines. My questions are where do i buy the right container for disposal..where must this be taken and how? How must the general small area be treated afterwards?

Before going to any extra measures why not email Marley tech dept a pic and details of the tiles, and ask them to confirm that asbestos is present or not?
