Removing Masking Tape

Has anybody any idea how to remove dried on masking tape from a metal window frame?

Try a hairdrier and a putty knife.
The heat should melt the adhesive.

can i suggest that you try somthing like a plastic spatula
before you try a metal impliment incase the heat softens
the finnish on the windows

Pull off what you can as said and then use petrol on a rag or kitchen roll to wipe of the residue.
