Hi

Noticed today we have a couple of small blobs/splashes of cement mortar on our window adjacent to where the rear extension is being built.

Builder wasn’t planned to be on site today for me to ask, so I was wondering what is best to use to remove these without scratching the glass and I’ll give it a go this weekend.

Any recommendations / advice please ?

The answer is carefully!

Water spray with washing up liquid as lubricant

Technique something like this:

Definitely carefully!

Thanks I’ll give that a go.

Wet it, rub it with your finger.

In extreme cases, you can even use your finger nail.

It’s gone

Liberal dose of soap solution to soak then power wash and repeat.

Final bit was to scrape residue off with edge of a plastic card and all done.

Cheers all
