I have taken the old floor up in our bedroom in preparation for laying a new laminate floor.
However there are a few areas where the floor boards are raised in relation to the rest towards the edge of the room. These boards go through to the next room where the floor is still in place so renewing the whole floor board is not an issue.
What i want to do is plane the affected board down to the level of the rest, so that the new floor will lay flat.
Any ideas on the best way to remove the nails that are holding the boards in place so i don't knacker my electric plane?
