Hi all

In our new property there was a rotten wooden fence which had been screwed into the wall. Anyone have any advice on how to remove these without damaging the stone?

Kind regards

James

These are hammer in fixings.....if they wont unscrew with a screwdriver, have you some mole grips which you can grip the head with?

It looks like they are screwed into long grey plastic frame fixings (a variety of wall plug).

Unscrew them, using a driver which is a perfect fit to the screwhead. They are probably PZ2, but when you use the right one you will feel it fits perfectly. If the heads get damaged, use a Mole Wrench.
