Hi, we just has a composite door fitted, black outside and white inside.

Although the door looks like it was a saturday morning job when it was made, 1/4" of silicone sealant around the edges of the window mouldings.

Not what I would expect for quality given what I paid, although I will be getting the company back to this (as I have not paid yet and wont until I am satisfied) how can the sealant be removed without also removing the black colorant on the front?

Just using my thumb I can remove a lot but it leaves little balls of it than IMO need removing with something more liquid....

Any suggestions?

Well if they're coming back stop fiddling with it and making it worse :? , they'll only say you've done it otherwise

Will the above stuff affect the coloured finish on the door?
