I have a double garage conversion done by previous owners but various aspects were bodged.
Particularly the floor.
So I removed all previous floor covering and levelled it with sand.
Then added a DPM and 60mmPIR insulation, covered with a floating (glued) 18mm T&G chipboard floor.
The issue is, there is slight movement in a couple of areas that I would like to reduce (or remove completely)
Having spoken to a friend who is a plumber by trade but handy in all aspects of building, and also a builder.
The best/easiest solution we have come up with, is to drill a 1/2" hole through the chipboard and PIR, where there is movement and then "inject" something underneath the PIR to effectively level the floor underneath it.
My question is what would be the best product to use, I wanted to use a high strength expanding foam but I can't seem to find anything suitable.
