I'm about to remove a small wall (it's not structural). It's a very old building with thick, solid masonary walls.

After I've taken it out I want to just make it tidy before deciding what to do next.

I'm anticipating bits of small brick will come loose, and they'll be bits sticking out.

I guess I should glue the bits of loose brick back, and use hardwall to tidy it up a bit.

How should I glue the bits of brick?

And can anyone offer advice on how best to make it look tidy.

Thanks in advance.

Here's what I am left with. I fixed a peice of mdf against the damage as a temporary measure.

Can someone please explain how to fix it proper.

Many thanks in advance.
