SDS drill on hammer action and a tile removing chisel -

like hot knife through butter and about 100 times less effort than a bolster

Are the tiles fixed to the wall or still in the box? If still in the box, carry them out as normal, but don't forget to bend your legs when you pick them up - tiles can be heavy you know. ;)
If fixed to wall, is it a plasterboard wall? If so, rip down the plasterboard and replace with new - it'll save time and be a better job.
If solid wall, as mentioned, get the SDS drill out (or lump hammer and bolster) and get angry. :D

HaHa ! Thanks.

I can confirm that the tiles are definitely fixed to the wall!
There is about 500 of the bl*ody things.

2 walls are plastered and the other 2 are plasterboard.

Can you take your anger out on the previous owner for creating such a stupidly designed bathroom? ;)
