Hi,

I have successfully installed velux windows before, working entirely from the inside with no need to climb on the roof.

Well now I'm facing the prospect of removing a pair of velux windows (actually, moving them from South to North side so I can fit solar panels), and wonder if it is possible to do the same.

Is it possible to reinstate tile battens, slide tiles back into position, and reinstate roofing felt all from the inside? If so, any tips on how... It seems much more of a jigsaw puzzle than putting them in!

Thanks in advance.

You can do most of it apart from final felt, battening and tiles I assume?

Why? Is it because the felt needs reinstating before battening?

I imagine I could overlap new felt and work down, replacing battens and tiles, apart from the last little bit.
