Hello,

I'm looking for advice on how to remove ceramic tiles off a bathroom wall without taking up chunks of plasterboard?

So far I've started by chiseling under the tile and trying to lever it off. The problem is that whilst levering the chisel it sinks into the plaster board creating a hole/large indent. When it does finally come off there's a chunk of plasterboard missing where the adhesive was... A complete nightmare.

I would appreciate any input that might help.

Thanks in advance.

Forget trying to not damage the plasterboard.

Take the tiles off and deal with the damage, perhaps even replace the damaged plasterboard.
