Renault Laguna R Reg

Hi, can anybody help??? R reg laguna 1.8 manual petrol. Just reached 68000 and a Airbag light has just come on the dash is this normal? do i leave it? Can i fix it? Most of all will it COST?

Have a look under the front seats...there you will find the wiring and connectors for the seat belt pre tensioners.
Check the connectors haven't come apart, and that there is no damage to the wiring. These are on the same circuit as the airbags.
