renault service light

I'm working on a Renault clio 03 plate and the dash display is showing
serv can I get rid of this and also the air bag light is always on is this
normal help please

For the airbag light, check the electrical connections below the front seats.
For the service indicator (not to sure here) ignition off, depress the button on the speedo, ignition on, hold for 10 sec, ignition off.

hi john I have just posted a comment on no notification email
your advise was spot on, the car belongs to my our granddaughter
and my failing to check watched items and relying on a email alert
cost her money she cant afford as I could have corrected the fault myself
instead of involving a garage, thanks for your input

Do check the bonnet latch for security, and keep it well lubed......tends to open on its own, and kiss the windscreen
