Render on outside brick shed

I have an outside single brick shed. One side is almost butt up against the garden fence and it looks like it was one properly rendered on the first few feet until the roof/guttering. I assume this is because they deemed the fence was too much trouble to take down. Geez!
Anyway, would appreciate thoughts if this is an issue to leave as-is? Thanks..

Well if you don't think it's to much trouble to take the fence down take it down and render it looks like a lot of prep first though
 
Thanks Steve. What kind of issues/concerns would there be 'not' doing anything? Just wonder overall is having this wall with no render causing any long term problems I might be able to see right now.

Well the joints need filling for a start if no render at least point it properly to make it less susceptible to the weather
