Render over different block types

Hi,
I'm building an extension out of 7n dense concrete blocks. I need to infill at the top between rafters - some of this will need to be rendered.
Would I be Ok to use concrete bricks instead of cutting up the 7n blocks? Would it show through the render at all?

No problem, they are made of the same material as the blocks.

Thanks, They just look much smoother than the blocks I have used. I assume render will still stick to them OK
