I have a building company doing a number of jobs in my house. Having repointed all the brickwork outside, I wanted a rendered plinth up to DPC level as the bricks below this level looked pretty tatty. I told the builder he would need to dig up the driveway as it had built up in layers over the years to the point where in places it was above DPC. Unfortunatly, he didnt listen and has rendered above the tarmac and because the tarmac was already above DPC, the render is now up to the next brick level. Am I right to be concerned about this?
