Hi,
This is my first post so I hope I am doing it right. Just doing my first self build and the outer brickwork finishes 8 feet lower than the apex of the gable end. The innerskin is SIP's panel and the idea is to fit 4 x 2 stud work onto the SIP panel followed by 3/4 ply. There would then be some decorative vertical boards with render in between.
I am looking for some advice on a few points -
Would I put some dpc up the bottom few inches of the SIP panel and onto the brickwork with weepers before I fix the lower 4 x 2 plate?
Once the studwork is fixed with the ply on top what would normally be fitted and what order eg some water-proof membrane over the ply, (roofing felt?), and then expanded metal for the render to adhere to?
And, finally, would I put this on before fixing the decorative wood boards or would I put boards on first and the other stuff between the boards?
I hope this is clear and thanks for any advice that might be forth coming.
John.

ok ok so you want too render on too wood first get some eml cut it too fit then use a staple gun or screews with washers too fix it on more the better m8te
then use sbr over it then its ready too render even put a bit of pva in the scrach coat to help let it pick up the trowel it off then devil float it off then leave it over night then wet it then top it off sponge finish or use webber baged render but still use the eml and sbr first
