wots the best way of rendering externally over accrington brick? was thinking of the aluminium sheeting 8'x2' using screws/washers into brickwork(lots of screws i guess). Alternatively i was thinking of keying brickwork with a grinder and sbr bonding slurry. Will both work just as well or is sheeting it out more guaranteed that the render is less likely to fall off? + Where should the bell cast beading be in relation to the damp proof course? thanks

would go for the eml option mate best you are sure to have no problems then and the bell cast should go just above the damp course level so there is no bridging of damp course and the water is taken away at this point

Got a great Pulsa nail gun that will put on a sheet of mesh in about 10 seconds including washers. Nails are £48 for 500 with gas, Hire one or PM me for a borrow. In S Manchester.
