Rendering stud gable

Hi can anyone help answer this one.
My gable is built in 6x2, overclad with osb board. I then have breathable felt then master board. now here is the question - I will use rib lathe, so do I fix battons now then breathable felt then the rib lathe, or can I just fix breathable felt on top of the masterboard then the rib lathe?

How are you gonna fix the lath to the masterboard? You might consider something like Renadlath http://www.monocouche.co.uk/pdf/RENDALATH INSTALLATION GUIDE - July 2009.pdf
