Renew showers kw??

I want to renew my electric trition 8.5kw shower with a mira 9.8kw. Please can anyone let me know if this is fine to do or do i need the cables changing etc. Thank you. Zanzs

What size cable feeds existing shower ? You will need 10mm T&E for new shower (and should be 10mm for existing)

Dunno about that, depends on the cable run. you might just squeak in with 6mm for 8.5KW but that's the top whack.

I have no idea of the cable size, i'm a girl! (Not to dizzy tho!)
Having seen other info think i will get the cable changed to a 10mm that will do the job for all!!!
