Hi gents any help would be appreciated, I have a small roof light and upstand I need to replace on a felt roof, do all the felt flashings that are secured to the deck have to be removed? I will have to cut around the base of the upstand so that can be removed, I'm wondering what best practice is, should I remove the rest of the felt attached to the deck as it seems pretty well stuck down.
I have tried to get roofers to this but getting a roofer willing to do it is another story, I have some experience using torch on felt/underlay so I'm not worried about that, I just want to make I'm doing it the proper way
