Hi, I noticed that my cloakroom sink wasn't properly fixed to the wall and lo and behold, turns out it was screwed straight into the plasterboard by whoever installed it. I moved the sink a bit to install gripits into the plasterboard to hopefully secure it a bit better but then found that the sink was leaking from the gasket that goes up into the sink trap (see attached pic) and also from the curved plastic connector piece that pushes onto the pipe that takes the waste water away (also in pic). The whole thing as you will see is a bit of a mess and any movement tends to loosen the connectors as they don't properly line up unless you force them a bit. I wondered if there was some kind of flexible connector I could use to connect the sink trap to the pipe that takes the waste away?
Any advice/suggestions as always gratefully received and feel free to ask for any clarfication

Thanks in advance

The " gasket" that connects the trap to the pipework is fitted incorrectly. The narrow tapered end should go into the trap.
Flexible waste pipes are available should you wish to replace some of the pipework and fittings that are under strain.
