Trying to put a sink into a downstairs cloakroom which currently only has a toilet.

Have access to both hot and cold water but no “standard” method of getting rid of the waste water.

Two possible methods I have thought of are
1) The toilet is soil outlet goes into the floor level soil pipe via one of these

Would it be possible to somehow tap the sink waste into that.
2) Could tap the sink waste into the pipe that connects the cistern to the toilet. The dirty / soapy water would then empty into the toilet bowel where it could then be flushed any.
Would either of the above work, comply with whatever regs or is there perhaps a better way of doing it.

Thanks for the replies.

Not sure what the part no:12718 is as there's no picture. But while googling for it found this

Is it the same thing? It seems will do the job nicely providing there's enough space between it and the flush feed pipe. Failing that assume I will have to use a strap on boss.

Out of interest why is option 2 a definate NO. I do agree it's a messy bodge though.
