Hi,

I'm just about to sign a lease on a shop and want to know how much I would expect to repaint the shop front. The shop is in a conservation area so I need to adhere to heritage colours (which i am waiting for).

Therefore how much should I expect to pay to repainti a shop front in suitable heritage colours incl writing a sign on the top. The shop front is effectively single fronted (average size - sorry for being so vague).

Regards

Get a few dekkies round to give you a price...its absolutely pointless speculting over the net.

There are too many variables..

Condition

Height

Pavement licences if scaffolding is needed

Colour (amount of coats to re-colour)

Brands of paint

Whether it has to be odne out of hours due to passers by etc

How much diffeent people want...in your area this could vary from 100 quid a day to 150

Dont ask for estimations (rough guesses) over the phone, if anyone is unprofessional/foolhardy to give you one they will always go in higher to cover theirselves..you may then settle for the highest 'guestimation' and end up paying way over the odds because no one will say..'i thought it was going to take longer so heres 300 quid back'
