Please can you guys give me some advice?

I have inherited a wooden play house for my daughter. It had a couple of thick layers of tatty paint so I'd like to repaint it. I'm getting myself confused with which product to use...

I've sanded it back to provide a key and smooth off the rough bits, but both Ronseal and Cuprinol say that it should be sanded back to bare wood before repainting, which I'm not sure is possible.

Is it possible to paint over old paint? And which product is best to use? If asked, my daughter says she wants it painted pink and purple. ..

Have a look at the Zinsser primer range, in particular the Allcoat series......just what you need!

Thank you for replying. I've heard of the Zinsser paint - so undercoat of that and then garden paint on top?
