Repair edge of concrete floor before laying laminate?

Hi I've removed the skirting and the concrete floor is pretty poor round the edges can I just repair these with something? The concrete has a DPM and its just round the edges.

You don’t want it touching the wall. I would leave it.
Doesn’t the skirting hide any gap?
There won’t be any load.
You could stabilise the screed with PVA to prevent it crumbling
 
What's going on top of it? If nothing, then yes, I'd look to fill it in with something supportive; normal cement mortar for example. If it's under eg kitchen cabinets, don't bother
 
Thank you for the replies PVA seems a good idea and I'll patch any large holes room side of skirting.
