Trying to repair a split outdoor 15mm copper pipe. Naturally my 5 minute job is turning into an epic ‘cos the pipe has been forced out by the pressure and the coupling joints won’t fit. Is there a way to “take a bit” off the diameter of the pipe to get it back to 15mm or is it a case of cutting way back from the split? Apologies for rambling - I’m fed up!

I’m confused, you said it’s 15mm but want to take some off to get it back to 15mm? Can you post a photo of the damaged pipe?
