Repairing hozelock

Hi hozelock pipe spit so have cut it back, can you reuse these silly clips? As I'm not having much luck.

Tempted to just use a jubilee clip but would that be strong enough?

They are not intended to be reused. A pair of old fashioned princers might work, to pinch it back tight, but generally a jubilee clip is easiest. The problem with Jubilee clips, is that they tend to tighten unevenly.

Thanks I've tried and it's bent out of shape now, I've only got jubilee clips
