In hallway parquet flooring is bulging like there is a puddle beneath. When I stand on the bulge it goes down easily but rises again as soon as I move away, it's as if the floor has expanded in the heat. It has been down 15yrs without a problem, any suggestions as to cause/solution? Is on a concrete floor

do you know if the floor was originally installed using bitumen - black tar?

If so, that might be causing the problem, getting old and brittle
