Repairing rad bleed valves

Thanks everyone. Very helpful.
I wouldn't waste money on that rad,buy a new one.
I dont disagree but the radiator is a size that's hard to find these days plus I don't do plumbing very often so I'm slow. I should have done it during the heatwave. Cheers.

Valves like this that are stuck and rounded off I just knock a small socket on.
Its soft brass plug so the brass shapes to socket.
Normally just smacking socket on will cause bung plug to come loose. I then left the socket for home owner to bleed rad.
Used to buy cheap sockets from market stall or pound shop but not so easy to source now as they are around £5

Never mind the bleed valve leaking, the radiator itself is pretty near springing a leak with all that rust on it. I suspect that any attempt to loosen or replace the bleed valve will cause the surrounds to disintegrate because of the rust. You really do need to replace that radiator urgently.
