I want to replace a bathtub with a walk in shower but I only have about 750mm of depth (current bath is 680mm). Width is 1700mm.

I'd rather not have a curb but as I think I will have to, then with a 700mm shower tray, I'd only have about 50mm left which is significantly less than the normal curb.

If I go sliding frameless, which would probably be my preferred option, do I need to turn the bathroom into a wet room because of the potential leakage from the frameless shower sliding door ?

I've seen this in hotels, with half the bathroom flooded. I just can't see to find the right pictures for options.

Step, raised threshold, etc.

Fairly unusual in UK and a trip hazard.
Why not a walk in shower with shallow tray ? No Door required .
