Hi All,

I wish to restore a Chimney which involves replacing a Chimney Stack on a Semi detached House end Gable.

Originally it had 4 X flues, but I only need one, I plan to only have 2 X pot, my neighbours being Capped and false.

On my side there is a Chimney Breast at ground level right up to just under the Roof Tiles. On my neighbour's side, there is a Chimney from above the Bedroom to just under the Roof Tiles, which is supported by a Lintel. The Chimney used to be in tact before the Roof was re-tiled approx 30 years ago when the Chimney top was removed.

Then I want to re-open the Fireplace and if possible fit a multi fuel cooker. I haven't seen under the render yet, but imaging it is a small fireplace. I will hope to open it up for the Cooker.

If there is any advice, this would be appreciated, also on the legal side, as I will benefit, but my neighbour won't.

My neighbour has agreed, and has 2 X old Pots which is a bonus.

Cheers.
