Hi all!
New here, just wanting some advice.

I've got a Drayton LP522 programmer, and from what I understand it's the same as the Hive wiring box on wall. Wiring should be the same.

So from what I understand, this needs unclipping and then just clip the hive box on (obviously when powers off).

As for my room stat, do I have to unwire it, or can I just leave it turned on and the hive will override it? It's in a cubbard downstairs, so it's not like I could use it by mistake, out of sight out of mind and all that! Don't want to unwire things if I can help it, you never know when you might need it!
Or is there two wires I can join in stat? Don't wanna touch wiring centre if poss
I have attached photos of everything
Thank you

Notes:
Y Plan system I think, tank in attic, tank in airing cubbard, pumped (I think)

If you don’t want to disconnect anything, just leave the original stat set on maximum (Which is the same as connecting the two wires in the stat together).

Okay that's exactly what I want to do, so I'll do that! Saves having to do any wiring, just swap the box

Just make sure you’ve bought a hive 2 channel.
