We have 2 uPVC rear doors which lock into each other, with some sort of central white part attached to the one on the left.
Wife's handbag was nicked and while we found it later in a nearby bin the keys for the rear doors were gone, so to be on the safe side, we're replacing both locks.
I bought a pair of keyed alike cylinders online and while the one on the right door was a doddle to install, the one on the left I cannot see the holding screw as the central white part is obscuring my view.
Photos attached as I know I haven't described it clearly. It would help if I knew the names of the various parts but I don't. Always happy to learn.
Saw a video inline saying the only way is to drill your way through where you estimate the screw to be. That sounds a bit risky to me.
The doors I think are Rehau. Ten years old.
Many thanks
