Replace Lighting Junction Box to fit a Shelly

Hi,
I want to add a Shelly relay to hook up a ceiling light to my Home Assistant setup.

I've found the junction box in the loft and there is no way I am going to get a Shelly in it, so is there any reason I can't replace the junction box with something larger like below and just use Wago connectors?

That should be fine Joe, just make sure the cables are somehow fixed maybe place it one some ply wood and use some cleats.
