I need to add some more lights. I don't have access to any of the existing ceiling roses but I've found a junction box with a spare terminal available. This isn't enough so is it safe to add a second junction box?
I understand that its common practice to get a feed from an existing celing rose but are junction boxes okay to use? I know that the ECC regulations say you cant extend a ring main using junction boxes, is there a similar rule for lighting?
