In my hallway I have an old LT603 handset connected to an external unit with three doorbell buttons, one for each of the three flats in the building.
Although the buzzer works, the intercom has been broken for the last 10yrs & is no longer needed. We are going to have the hall redecorated in the autumn so I wondered if this is a good opportunity to remove the handset and replace it with just a buzzer.
I would like to leave the external unit unchanged... is this possible given that the other flats rely on the continuing operation of the external panel?
Many thanks for any info...
