Replace old CH & HW controls with news ones

Hi,
I have moved into a house which has the lifestyle LP522 system and I have been given the ESI ES3247B with 2 thermostats to go with it.

is it easy to replace one with the other?
 
They look easy enough, you might even be able to swap using existing industry standard backplate.
